General Disclaimer (echonet communication ltd.) acts exclusively as an intermediary of transport services in Cuba and sees itself as a link between customers (tourists) and private, Cuban taxi drivers. is not a taxi company and does not operate its own taxis. All taxis with which cooperates have their own taxi license in Cuba and are operated by drivers who work on their own account. As such, can not be held liable for accidents, personal injury, delays or the consequences thereof. is responsible for the secure payment, the secure payment process and the guaranteed reservation of your transport requests.

Compulsory Health and Accident Insurance

Cuba does not have an insurance contract with foreign countries and therefore obliges all tourists entering the country to take out a private accident and health insurance for the duration of their stay in Cuba. The enforcement of claims for damages in Cuba is currently excluded. We, therefore, recommend a sufficient private insurance cover.

Delays and Mishaps

We point out that all travel times given by us are only approximate dates and therefore can not be guaranteed. This especially in view of the precarious supply situation and the limited infrastructural development of the country. However, we will do everything in our power to minimize any delays.

Cancellation of a Booking

An already confirmed and paid reservation can be canceled up to 14 days before the start of the journey by giving your booking reference number. An indication of reasons is not necessary for this. Please note that we retain a processing fee of 25% of the fare for this service. A refund of your already paid travel fee after the above deadline, due to the driver's planning is unfortunately not possible and therefore excluded.

Change a Booking

An already confirmed and paid booking can be changed up to a maximum of 14 days before departure, but there is no legal claim to the change of the booking. We would like to point out that additional costs may arise due to the limited capacities and must be borne by the customer in full.

Booking and Reclamation Deadlines

Due to the limited availability of vehicles in Cuba and the enormous influx of tourists, bookings on must be made at least seven days before departure. In order to be able to offer you an optimal service, we recommend that you make your advance booking in good time. (for example, in the high season after booking your flight and accommodation in Cuba).

Response Deadlines on and Booking Process

We make every effort to ensure that your booking request is processed quickly. Our service promise: A maximum of 48h after booking request you will receive the confirmation of your booking or an alternative transport proposal.

Payment Deadlines

After receiving your reservation confirmation, you have seven days to confirm your booking by paying the fare. For short-term bookings, up to seven days before departure, this payment period is shortened to 48 hours after receipt of the reservation confirmation. You will be automatically reminded by an e-mail from us. If you do not confirm your booking with your payment, your reservation will be automatically canceled.

Booking Confirmation (Voucher)

After payment of the fare, you will receive from us by e-mail booking confirmation and a voucher with all important data for you. (Pick up address, destination, approximate travel time, emergency phone number and other handy tips). We would like to point out that you are obliged to present the printed voucher to the driver when you start your journey. Please note that in Cuba there is no comprehensive internet service. Thus, the booking confirmation in electronic form is not sufficient.

Further Important Information

Should you book an airport transfer, the driver of will await you at the info point in the airport's departure hall with a name tag. If you are aware of a relevant flight delay, we ask you to communicate it to us immediately. If you can not find your driver at the airport, please contact the emergency number provided on the voucher. In case of transport from private accommodation, the driver will pick you up directly at your accommodation. Especially with collective transports, the pick-up times are to be understood as estimated orientation times.
